In 2014, TUBE Centre National de Peinture Contemporaine was born from a radical idea: to free contemporary painting from the static confines of the traditional white cube. Established in the heart of Normandy, our initial mission was to create a breathable, dynamic space where art is treated as a living entity. Between 2018 and 2021, TUBE expanded its reach internationally, forging partnerships across borders and fostering a diverse cultural dialogue. We launched comprehensive support programs, accompanying creators through every stage of their development.
